Sharing your QuickBooks company with Flash Reports support

If you are having trouble logging on with Flash Reports proceed as follows:

  1. Start a clean session of Excel. You must ensure that all Excel sessions are closed and then launch a new Excel session. If you are having trouble closing any Excel sessions it is safer to close all applications and restart the PC to ensure a clean starting point.
  2. Click the Flash Reports tab in the Excel ribbon.
  3. Click the Start button.
  4. When the Flash Reports screen displays in the Excel task pane, click on the Flash Reports logo at the top of the screen. This will activate the Log Level selector.

  5. Select "Fine" from the Log Level selector.

  6. On the Flash Reports ribbon menu, select "Login".
  7. When prompted with the "Choose Companies" message, click the button before the countdown ends.

  8. Click the "Deselect All" button and then click "Continue"

  9. Flash Reports will complete the login but will not attempt to load any company information.
  10. On the Flash Reports ribbon menu, click "Company Connections" (This screen may already be the active screen).
  11. Click the "Share" button on the connected company that you wish to give Flash Reports support temporary access to. Enter the email address provided by the Flash Reports support engineer and click on "Ok" to complete the sharing process.
